History
I grew up in Albany, NY, and am the product of excellent public schools. After receiving my undergraduate degree in mathematics from Lafayette College, I obtained a masters in business administration from the University of Arizona. I’ve spent my career in higher education and technology. As an entrepreneur, I founded a higher education predictive analytics company that I later sold to a large software company. Currently, I work full-time at Arizona State University as Executive Director of Data & Analysis for ASU Enterprise Technology.
Family
My wife, Jessica, and I feel fortunate to have made the decision to purchase our first family home in Scottsdale 24 years ago. Scottsdale has been a wonderful place to raise our twin girls. Attending Cochise Elementary, Cocopah Middle School and Chaparral High School, both our girls worked hard to achieve merit-driven scholarships that can be attributed to the excelling programs, dedicated staff, and unique opportunities offered in SUSD.
Service
Even after my own children have flown the nest, I continue to help guide and influence SUSD students via robotics and engineering. For 8 years and counting, I have taken pride in mentoring students on the Chaparral High School robotics team and developing their interest in STEM careers. Additionally, I was honored to serve on the board of my synagogue, Congregation Or Tzion for 5 years.
